The car has had alot of spending on it over the last 6 months, the water pump collapsed causing the engine to over heat (luckily the belt did stay on) so at this point we got the head skimmed (4 thou removed) replaced the head gasket, bolts, put a new water pump cam belt and bottom pulley, the ran great for 2-3 months until the cat blocked and burnt 4 valves this was down to an ECT sensor failing and making the engine over fuel, so the head was removed once again and had new valves fitted and reseated another new gasket stretch bolts and cam belt were fitted while the inlet was off i removed the map sensor and ICV and gave them a clean and on refitting i fitted a gti-6 exhaust manifold cat and exhaust system, the car has been back on the road for the last 2 months and covered almost 1k with no poblems but my sisters wierd logic is as its cost her money to fix, the car is unreliable and therefore she doesnt want to drive it.

From the out side of the car it does need tidying up there are a few dents and scratches the rear bumper has 2 cut outs from when it had a chav fest twin exit exhaust on it and the front bumper is missing the grill, but a rear bumper can be bought for £20-30 and a grill for £10, both doors are de-locked as is the boot, the next step on this car was to repair all dents and give the car a full respray but my sister doesnt want to go any further with the car.

The interior also needs some attension the seats are all in good condition no rips/tears but would benifit from being cleaned and little dash plastics have been badly painted China Blue and makes the inside look untidy

I'd say this car would be ideal for someone who is able to do a bit of painting to freshen it up and make it a tidy looking car as mechanically its a sound car and drives great.

i just done an insurance quote on this and looks ok, so will hopefully buy it end of november if i have enough money after paying some other fings but reli want a car before xmas. but if not ill see if its still for sale wen i get paid end of december.

Cool i could do with the space on drive now, 4 cars on the drive is abit too many
