Just collecting interest for the moment, but will sell ASAP if I get the asking price.

1994 L Reg - Citroen AX - 1.0 8v petrol - 4 speed gearbox
Mileage - 89,000 genuine
MOT - December 2010
TAX - Oct or Nov 2010 (will confirm later on)
Colour - Red
4 brand new tyres fitted this morning

I purchased the car last September for a run about whilst my 106 XSi was off the road. I bought it on ebay and collected it from Bristol from a very nice chap, whose family have owned the car for many years. When I purchased the car it needed some work doing such as the timing belt, general service and the handbrake did not work.

All this work was undertaken by myself and I have not had any reliablility issues with the car at all, I have covered nearly 13,000 miles since Sept and it has started first time, everytime.

The car comes with alot of history and has been very well looked after, it has alot of service history including receipts for the clutch, driveshafts, gearlinkages etc etc and even the original dealer receipt for £5495.00

Overall the car is in good condition, drives without fault, will sit at 70mph on the motorway and 50mpg is easily achieved.

Being an old car it is not without fault, but these are only minor issues which will be put right if I have the time. However I will offer the car cheaper for the time being, but will be looking for a few quid more if all is put right.

*handbrake - only operates on the pass side - has not always been the case, so should be a quick fix and comes with 2 x new cables

*headlight adjuster clip on drivers side - recently snapped off and headlight is securely fastended with cable ties.

*rear parcel shelf support - clipped snapped so parcel shelf does not stay in place.

*Small tear on pass seat - around the size of a 5p

*body work - a few scratches, scuffs, but nothing major. The paintwork has also faded, but when i purchased the car I did polish the car and it came up well.

If I could afford to run both my AX and rallye I would not be parting with the vehicle due to it reliability, good mpg, cheap insurance and cheap tax.

Price £350 for a quick sale

Photos are available for those seriously interested.
