Right guys, time for a good news bad news update.
The good news is i go a price for a re-spray last night, £650 well happy with this and will hopfully be done by may, ready for French car show.
The bad news is, i think my gearbox is leaking oil onto the clutch show i now have to get the box out and may need a new one.
Anyway fingers crossed i wont be off the road long.
Cheers All

Yeh not the good drive home. Everytime I put my foot down the revs went up but the car didn't go any faster. Alex picked his car up from brigend and followed me home. The really embarracing part us he could have gone quicker than me last night.

Re: my 306
could be a crank oil seal leaking oil on to clutch, I'd strip the box off before spending out on new box
Re: my 306
Hey all Update time again
Well turns out the front oil seal in my box was gone, caught it early enough that I managed to save the clutch. £200 later and I now have a HDI box. Once again I need to thanks Alex who helped me get the old box out and the new one in. Such a good guy he even caught the train from Bridgend to Aberdare to help me. SO NICE ONE MATE YOUR ONE IN A MILLION. Any cars all back together and I like the new box feels real good to drive and the change is real nice.
We also fitted my catch tank and I sorted an oil leak (rocker cover had worked loose).
Next on the work to be done will hopefully be the re-spray. If nothing else go wrong.
Cheers all

Re: my 306
Dam poxy French fecking crap peace of junk.
Well as you can tell I am not a happy pug driver, drive of your life my ass more like drive you to insanity. So got home from the meet yesterday and today looked at the oil leak, at it turns out it’s a head off job. There looks like there is a junk missing out of the gasket and the oil is coming out of it.
So after a lot of shouting and cursing at it and the turbo I have almost got the head off tonight. Can anyone tell me the best way to get the manifolds off the head I got all the nuts off the manifolds but I cant get it to come away from the head.
Any help would be useful

Hey all got some pic's today of the charge cooler.
Pipework need a good polish
Heres the cooler also in need of a polish
Intercooler adaptor
Water tank
Need to get some rubber mounts for the cooler as where the pipe work connects theres a vibration through it all and into the car. Also need to swap my fans but its running real good.
Cheers all
