Ah dont want you catching the train up or anything! We'll sort something out! You getting another Dtub? I wouldn't!!
Re: My 306...which is now poorly :(
Nah im going to be going up there this saturday, maybe sunday to fit bens brakes so i will probably be getting a lift up. Ive got a garage full of parts that i need to get rid of so i'll have a good rummage round, i think i know where it is Another Dtub is very unlikely after all the problems i had with the old one, im thinking a 1.8 16v again, or maybe go daft and get a saxo/106 - be like driving a clown car but it would be a laugh

When i was looking for them on ebay it was the only distinguishing feature difference i could see.

Cheers alex but had the car back today and it's all sorted. Cost me a whopping £430 in the end but at least it's all sorted now! It's had:
- New head gasket and skim
- Cambelt change
- Thermostat
- Engine flush
- Leads
- Plugs
- Coil pack
- Oil change + filter
- Tappets have been adjusted
- New rocker cover
I thought the thermostat may have sorted the problem with my heaters and the high running temp but that still remains the same...any further ideas on what it could be? I'm happy anyway...loved being back behind the wheel!!
