Ok, cheers for that Simon, I guess it's put on with car jacked up, then tightened fully once lowered onto the floor?

Re: 306 HDI D-Turbo
Yeah 18mm socket and long wobble extension i used a 3/8 set as it gave me enough space between the sump and brace but the hdi may be different
Re: 306 HDI D-Turbo
Tom i put a top strut brace on mine and made buggar all difference so fit the bottom first and if you notice difference stick the top one on. where you getting the lower one from? future purchase for me it is

Re: 306 HDI D-Turbo
Should be getting one off a chap on ebay if he ever emails me back, otherwise might just buy one, they're about £54 delivered on the bay.
I had the strut brace off Adam on pug306, I'm putting it back to red though, didn't like the silver. I've nearly finished painting it, not sure whether to laquer it or not, I don't think they're usually all shiny, but it would protect the paint a bit, so I can't decide!
Haha yeah he doesn't drive too quick very often, he did last night when we had a go, we've fitted the 708's now so it pulls well :p
Car's running fine thanks mate, I'll give it a good look over once I get out of work now I think just to be safe.

Re: 306 HDI D-Turbo
Next month I'll have them off you, How much should it cost to have the back screen done?
Re: 306 HDI D-Turbo
I think most places do it for about £40 a window.
The film is really cheap, but it's not easy to do yourself!

Re: 306 HDI D-Turbo
I wouldn't want to even try doing it myself, would much rather pay the 40 and have it done properly. But if I'm having the back done I need to get the rear wiper off. Lol.
What shade of tint is it? Just so I can get them all to match

About 40% I believe, I'll check though
Last tank was 48mpg, my spirit monitor thing is on 45.7mpg average atm, that's city driving though, I barely ever go on the motorway as they're so boring! lol
