Re: MY 306 xsi-6
Well i got going on this 1 today as FCS is only 11 weeks away and i cant really see the Rallye being done in time, fitted a new battery with new clamps, new earth lead, new clutch cable gave it an oil/filter change and then got striping i removed glass, rubbers, mirrors lights etc etc all just to give it a good clean as i havent really given it a proper clean for 3 years
New wheels, alternator and aux belt idler pulley being fitted next week sometime

Re: MY 306 xsi-6
whu dont you think the rallye will be there then? will be good to see this fresh look
Re: MY 306 xsi-6
Rallye is never gonna be ready martin will have it another week so will leave 10 weeks till FCS and i'd like to use it for a month to make sure everything is ok before doing that distance so that leaves me 6 weeks to build it
Re: MY 306 xsi-6
how is it coming on with martin?
looks like we will both miss fcs this year with the boosted cars lol

Car is already at the body shop i dont want to risk overspray getting on anything at all, everything thats on the car now will be coming off when it comes back as well so wheel suspension beam etc all being changed over

Re: MY 306 xsi-6
its just to give it a good clean, fed up of dirt running out from joints etc when it gets wet and as its stood for best part of the last 2 years there was a lot of green everywhere.
with all weight gone i'd expect to get an extra 2-3MPG and hit 60 .3 of a sec quicker with all the wax every little helps when the fuel prices are so high

Re: MY 306 xsi-6
I can get my low level michelin jack under no problem, but i left that at the other workshop so the jack i got now needs me to drive up on a bit of wood
I'm not sure if it is lower or not as the wheels are wider there is more of a stretch so it theory the thread is closer to the rim so could well be
