How does the quick release feature work? Is there a key involved or does it come off at the press of a button?

Hmmm I'm a lil concerned that if someone was to break into my car they could whip my steering wheel with a press of the button

Take the steering wheel out when you get out ? thats kinda of the idea i would say !!
