Well here she is, though i'd post some pics of it as i bought it, only changes i've made is i've 2 tyres on the front so it legal to drive and ive set it up on the gas anyliser, co was at 5.38 recomended 2.5-3.0 so i'd say it would have been costing the previous owner a fair few quid to run, it now set at 2.85 and she runs good only problem is i set it up warm and it wont idle when cold so i need to play a bit more Smile

First thing im doing is changing the mirrors they are S**T, i have got a spare standard pair but 1 has damaged glass and the other a damaged arm so might just put the matigs on for now and see how it looks, im not sure on the alloys at the moment im on 2 mind at the moment 1put standard alloys on it and keep everything original or 2 put smaller tyres on it and lower it 80mm de badged grill etc etc

just been looking at this on 309 oc,them wheels r mint,and like you said,get them shite mirrors off, 309 GTI Icon_biggrin

Plans are to use it as a run about to move parts/panels for the Rallyes respray then sell it on just been out the shed and matt blacked the matig mirrors there not to everyones taste but imo look better than the m3s

There are 2 309 gti's just around the corner from my house, one silver one white. Both look in good nic. Each time i seem them I want Smile

Well i've just done a deal on some original speedlines and Richard (pugplus) has the mirrors rear lamps and shelf i need so i think for £300 it will be original

Now I think Mike's right on this one, keep it standard (or as close as you can) I'd say proper old school but I think my school's a lot older than most of yours TBH 309 GTI Icon_lol
