Some quite deep scratches on the bottom, looks alright from a distance but not so great close up, would be an idea smoothing project, comes with spoiler and wiper motor. Can get pics on request.

Possibly one day but i want to keep this one pretty much standard apart from a few subtle tweeks here and there, i can't be arsed with all the gti engine bits anymore, but i am currently trying to locate a half decent set of standard xsara vtr springs to drop my car 20mm and freshen it up

You'd be wanting vts springs then not vtr

p.s i take it the loom plugs are all still on the boot

Yis, all of the wiring is in tact ready to plug straight back in, the only thing we may have trimmed down is the washer pipe but i can't really remember

Would VTS springs not raise the car slightly as the VTS has the heavier GTI engine but the 1.8 would be the same weight engine however has the same stance as the vts?

vts enigine is heavier but sits 20mm lower than gti6 which is 20mm lower than xs but thats cos the xs has a lighter engine

And the VTR is standard height, only the VTS has shorter springs.

Ahh right, but mine sits quite low anyway...argh this is starting to get confusing now. Sod it i think i'll just buy XS springs that way i can't go wrong surely.
