Boot pop

for this method you need

a length of single core cable (2-3m long)
2 bullet/spade connectors (1 male-1 female)
1 push switch
1 ring connector

and a short bit of wire

first off i was doing this on a 306 which has had the wiper removed, so i just used the red plug straight to the central locking motor



if you want to fit this to a car with the wiper motor still fitted you'll need to bridge off the live (brown wire on the red plug)

I then used the grey wire on the plug located on the top of the drivers side wheel arch





Cut the grey wire (an earth) then run it to the switch and from the switch to earth

This method will only work with the ignition turned on

Also if you are using a wiper motor use a different wire as an earth

this gets your motor working then i attach wire around the hole in the motor to the hole for the boot latch
