The New Blue 306
The newest car to the fleet is a china blue D-turbo sport. half leather, electrics, non-sunroof and a/c, 90k-ish. At first i didnt like it, but at £550 i couldnt leave it there. it came with 11 months mot and a recipt for £525 from its mot. The turbo was really loud but the car seemed a good buy.
First job was the compulsary door looms to make the windows work, then i swapped some parts with my phase 1, the subframe (cos the phase1 had new arms, links and a 21mm ARB from the S16), the turbo and exhaust (the phase 1 doesnt have a cat
Then After 2 month the Altinater belt broke, wrapped itself round the crank pully, causing the timing belt to jump and bend the valves - The joy.
I put in the engine from the phase 1 using all the phase 2 bits, the A/C never worked and got in my way, so it all got binned while i was there.
I kept the engine standard and just wanted a car that looks half tidy so a few mods and here we are.
1. Genuine SP front bumper (e-bay)
2. Genuine Peugeot side skirts (from the S16)
3. Phase 3 boot (went to london for it)
4. Eccosse boot spoiler (had it on a previous 306 and kept it safe for like 4 years)
5. 17inch wheels (e-bay again)
6. -40mm ROC front springs
7. Front and rear brakes from an XSi, with a newly rebuilt rear beam.
8. morrettes (from a guy that didnt like them)
9. And a really good polish to bring the paint back to life. (still needs a good buffing tho)
and this is the result

Re: The New Blue 306
Cheers boys, hopefully i'll look after this one.
I might do something with the back bumper but not to sure what yet, wont be fitting SP fuel caps and other bits, they look a bit pants.
Debadged phase 3 bonnet is next on the list.

Re: The New Blue 306
something like this, it doesnt stand out too much but u get the idea, i'll have to paint the exhaust tip too.
I think it looks good, might do it and if it doesnt come out too good i'll get a GTI bumper.
