Re: Sumone to fit a vts engine in my vtr
What conversion parts do you have?
I have 16v'd my Series 1, 106. With the 106 you require the Gti engine loom to be spliced onto the rallye loom. I also required the ECU to be unlocked due to the immobiliser.
Some, but not all of the later S2 Rallyes are just plug and play conversion and do not require the loom to be spliced.
Do you know if the loom needs to be modified? As I am not familiar with the exact routine on the saxo.

Ok sound! I did ask he wanted between £450 And 500 for the whole thing as it's a whole days work and he sed it's easier to change the whole loom! Why i don't know but he's the expert! Not sure wether that's a good price because I'm no Saxon/106 fan haha! Let me know!

Re: Sumone to fit a vts engine in my vtr
If you can drive the car to me I would be willing to do the conversion.
I have stripped and rebuilt a couple of 106's. Dropped a 16v conversion into my S1 XSi. I have a garage and all the required tools/engine crane.
Sure my mate would also be willing to give a hand, who is the yoda of the 106. As long as you are confident the ecu has been unlocked and the engine loom will be plug and play, then I am more than happy to help. Do you know if the VTR requires any alterations to the fuel system, sure I read about them requiring a return feed to the fuel tank for the conversion?

Yes mate I'd need to make a up a fuel return but I have a full 106 gti tank with all the piping and the pump so just take it of that
