Cheap car wanted

As title says im looking for a cheap car to run around in as the beam has gone on my 205 and as there are other jobs i want sorting out at the same time as doing the beam im looking for another car will pay up to £500 prefer with tax and mot but one with long mot will do.

May as well say i don't want anything to big as parking where i live is a twat, i had a nice Xsara estate recently that i would have used but parking it was a nightmare.

I do have a beam but its on another car at the moment what is the one you have like, is it lowered and what do you want for it.

might have a N plate, 306 D-turbo, I picked it up last night, gonna look over it tonight, tax til end of the month and a bit of mot but not sure how long yet, will be looking for about £500.

Will do mate, i'll get on it tonight. It does look pretty good from on top, no rust on the roof and its a sunroof model!, got the sports blue seats but a rip in the base, nothing major tho, 3 keys and the key number tag. i'll let u know how i get on with the rest of it.

Its blue, they're really common for rust on the roof but this 1 is clean so i hope the rest of the car is the same.

Very tempting bit lower than i wanted mine is down 40 now but can get that changed is it 1.6

I have got msn but not used it for a while, your beam looks about the same as mine so maybe mine is 50 all i know is it its down 1 click from standard.

What are the bearings like as that's what's gone on my 1 now i have a new set here that i was going to fit to my other beam but have to move the other car first to strip it but cant find any where at the moment and i need to get my beam changed soon as its a bit dodgy driving the car the way it is now.

ermm i have only made one trip in the car as its a project, and it seemed all fine mate, if you want it ler me know as its still on the car at the mo,

No it sold within 12 hours of me advertising it think i must have sold it to cheap.

o well back to looking for a 406 for me then

I had a good look over the 306 last night, i gotta sort the rear brakes and the drivers window reg but other than that she's really good. i put cyclones on it with good tyres as the ones that were on it were bald. It has every mot since 1999 except this years. I looked on line and the MOT is due 01/03/2011, i'll see if i can get a certificate. It looks like the blue XSI that simon has bought, different grille and no skirts. same colour and wheels, and it's cleaner.

Can you get any photos so i can see it.

yeah will try, i was gonna give it a clean first but the rear brakes held me back last night and it was too dark. i'll try my best to get them on tonight.

Its mot'd, just need to get a certificate. i'll ring the garage if the guy cant find it and get a reprint.
