those engines were 150bhp std

As gunge said, 150bhp standard, However this has got a port and polished head on it aswell coupled to the '6' gearbox...

It certainly picks up well thats for sure!!

Woud be a propper street sleeper if there was somewhere to put that intercooler!!!

ah just looked properly and read it again lol, i thought it was a gti6 turbo'd. not gti turbo. haha i should open my eyes.

Its a 2.0 8v turbo from a xantia with the gearbox from a GTi6 Very Happy

ye i gathered, would it not have been better to put the a gti6 engine in the 309 and start with 167bhp, not disrespecting anything as im sure u went throught all the options, just aksing the differences really as i know nothing about the 8v turbo engine or 309's tbh.

Was initally going to just be 2.0 8v turbo 5 speed, but i think the '6' box came up cheap and terry thought it would be a nice touch.

That would be so good if he could get the I/C hidden, i do love the 309's but at the moment its derv tuning all the way!
