french car show 2009

who would be interested in going as southwalespugs

originally i set up this forum as a way of having all south wales pug owners in 1 place, for the last 5 years i've been the reginal leader for the pgac club and found that the only way we could get good numbers turning up to a meet is to post it accros many pug forums, originally my plan was to try and members from here to register on pgac just before the show season starts and then take full advatage of the free stuff that the pgac offer their members at the shows, i've asked mark (pgac founder) if he minded me doing this and tbh he didnt sound to interested, i'm going to have a chat with him at trax on sunday but its no good trying to organise this with him if nobody would be interested.

i`ll be going, but not sure who too go down with....

we had a bbq this year and camped the night befor witch was great.

ive neva been to any car shows hopeing to make it to a few next year. but ill probably be with the rallye register

well i've always shown with pgac membership is £17 iirc and you get £30 worth of free meguires at each show so well worth the membership imo

i just want to gauge interest really

1. members from here would register and show with pgac
2. would stay with thier main club
3. would want us to have a stand and show as swp

think im a member on there, but not paid..

yeah its only the paid members that get the freebies

I`d say show as swp, but can we get enough cars to make a good stand.

but if not, i`d be happy too register and show with pgac...

Normally i'd say Pug306 as ive been on there for a while but members seem to be dying out and there isnt that much interest any more. I would be happy to go with either PGAC or SWP. Would rather go up with SWP as i dont even have an account on PGAC

i wouldnt like to go as south wales pugs. maybe if we were able to start paying for our membership we could get free goodies at shows like PGAC??

would be a great day out all convoying up together

I'm up for this, although my baby is hardly a show/stand car but a convoy sounds fun as does some pukka looking pugs

it's fast car, so a stock gti-6 with induction kit and exhaust gives 200 add the 65bhp from the kit, you're sorted

of course and replacing two fog lights with a big ass intercooler is worth at least 90

well its r/roaded at 189bhp and i was running a 75 shot so they just added together but acctually only running about 220-230 with happy gas on on a cold day warm day would be 200-220 i would say

as for show standard cars, the way fcs was this year it was like walking around tesco's car park, dents dirt etc i think as long as the cars are all clean then take it i think clubs are just wanting numbers on the stand now.

i'd like to get 20+ cars on a stand all gleaming and all parked tidily on a stand

well, I can sure as hell make my gleam and sparkle but not today it seems, bloody weather.

just looked and fcs 2009 will be on 21st june so i for 1 will not be there, my first fcs missed in 6 years
