Black 306 Rallye (runabout edition)
Today i bought my 2nd Black 306 Rallye it is need of some tlc the current owner had decided to break it till i came along to save it
Apparently only 43 black 1s left in existance so it must be saved
Originaly the lad wanted to strip everything off and sell me a bare shell for £200 but i've agree'd to buy alot of the parts he was going to take off so price has gone up but i've bought a more complete car
Here are the pics taken today
New screen fitted today too
The lad is removing the engine/box shafts legs and front brakes but i have some spares so should get it going soon enough

not sure yet but i pick it up next sat and will decide from there i'd like to make an original mint example but maybe this 1 is too far gone for that
Re: Black 306 Rallye (runabout edition)
Shame it hasn't been looked after, these are really nice cars and like you said there's not many left. Hope it all goes well

Cheap restoration project, as the yoda of 306's I'm sure you could get it looking 10x better with lil to no cost
Re: Black 306 Rallye (runabout edition)
No not that cheap tbh that is the car now but during the week he's rubbing quite a few parts off it, on a quick calculation its going to cost me £1600-1800 just too put it back on the road, think im just going to get it back and park it up for a short time till i know what im going to do with it
Re: Black 306 Rallye (runabout edition)
What a shame, such a rare car to see on the roads now!
Saw a black rallye today in Builth, got more looks that some of the rally cars tbf!

Re: Black 306 Rallye (runabout edition)
