my 309 goodwood
just thought id whack up a couple of pics of my 1993 309 gti goodwood and let you know what ive done to my motor since ive had it (mostly getting it back to standard)
right here it goes:

refurbed rear beam
all calipers refurbed
piper ss exhaust
new discs and pads all round
4 brand new goodyear eagle f1 tyres
new droplinks both sides
new horn
new central locking motors (all four)
twin 40 weber carb conversion using original fuel pump and regulators, with k&n bolt on filters
professional tuned by aldon motorsport in brierly hill west midlands
new wishbones
new bushes all over the place
new windscreen wiper motor
countless oil, oil filter, fuel, filter changes
new dizzy cap and rotar arm
new leads and spark plugs
new anti roll bars
new valve stem seals
new calcium battery
3500m rms amp, 2 x 2500w rms 6 x 9's, 2 x 350w rms speakers in the front doors and a stelth parcel shelf, the amp and speakers are all "the loudest" make (www.theloudest.com) and the headunit is panasonic
im sure theres more ill add to the list if i remember
things im going to do before next summer: (so far anyway)
high lift cams
vernier pulley
4-2-1 manifold
another rolling road setup
strut brace
general tidy up of appearance (bit of spraying and sorting the 'black' bumpers and side trims)
fitting electric power steering from either a 106 or saxo (had to lose mine to do the carb conversion)
changing the bottom rad water pipe
painting my calipers
refurbing the wheels back to the goodwood style
again im sure the list will get biggeras the weeks go on
some things have changed now, like ive tidyup the engine bay a bit (sprayed slam panel, changed some pipes etc ill get some pics of it)
