has anybody got a faultcode reader? the antipolution falt came up last night withe the engine light also on any ideas??

A how much time he has
B if he's willing to do it off books (cash) if not it will be through the books and be charged at an hourly rate iirc £28 per hour also iirc they dont charge extra for the machine like most places do

pug charge £125+vat just to read they then charge per fault removed

i'll see what he says prob wont have chance to speak to him till mon/tue though

just rung pug they said a faultcode read is £85 plus vat but they said it might be to do with the throttle body?

they've dropped there prices then, he defo wont be that much i can tell you that for a fact, not sure what it would be though fault reader will read it

yeah but will still be recorded in the ecu so you will still be able to find out what it was that caused it

Is it an OBD-II port? I have an OBD reader which will give the engine fault numbers.

all standard pug fit from 1997 iirc so would be the same pod fitting as the 306

yeah, exactly what i was thinking. My XSi has the port, as does the GTi-6, but on those it isn't OBD-II (not required on UK/Euro cars till 2001 sadly)
