http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=260303851339&Category=9859null&_trksid=p3907.m29
Simple fix probably just the stop solenoid. only thing is i dont have the money to buy it would anyone be interested in going halves on it, while i get it back on the road, go halves on all the costs and then take half the re-sale profits or i could buy you out if i decide to keep it in 2 weeks?

Re: Black DT repair
Went to look at it today, not worth it at all, engine was turning over funny and there was fuel coming out of the injector pipes, body work was in a worse state than listed so i left it there
Re: Black DT repair
Not going to get that one then?
If your after a cheap project car, Get yourself down to the auctions and then you can actually see what your bidding on before you buy...
I have generally found that any car i have ever looked at from ebay has always had problems. I think its mainly a last resort for people to get rid of problem cars!

Re: Black DT repair
Na it wasnt worth it, would need a new engine i think...not the kind of thing i wanted to get to grips with just yet! I always find bridgend auctions too expensive for every car i look at, is there one up your way?
Re: Black DT repair
briton ferry auctions are good, i bought the first 6 from there R plate body wasnt in good condition at all 15k on the clock i paid £1020 for it that was about 3 years ago when that would have been worth about £3.5k
Re: Black DT repair
Yea i totally agree with gunge there.
Britton ferry has a fairly good choice of motors down there. Must have brought 10 there in the past couple of years.
Roland brought his China 6 there 2 and it was seriously underpriced!!

Re: Black DT repair
£1650 + buyers fee, that would be the equivalant of a X reg now with 66k and full service history!
