no i just wanted to get the dash cut ready so i wasnt scratching the paint, that is the next job i'm gonna prime the whole inside then paint the cage leave it to dry for a good few days then mask up the cage and paint the rest of the inside so in 2 weeks time im hoping to have the inside done

I'm thinking Black with white cage/wheels now only cos i have 5liters of white spare so not going to bump the cost up that money saved can go on the high boost 2.1 bottom end build

will depend on how quick/well it comes together tbh building the high boost bottom end will be 1 of the last things i'll do so if i can see i'm ready for the engine after everything else done around April/may then it will just be the low boost engine dropped in, if im ready sooner then the will high boosted but my standard engine will go in the car for FCS

So FCS 2010 will either be 170bhp standard or 240-260 low boost, if its the 170 then the 380+ high boost will be in for trax 2010

Fair enough.

If i were you i'd try getting the low-boost done ready for 2010, will bring a lot more attention if its a supercharged rallye, either high or low boost at FCS, will give you more time that way if you have over a year to get it high boost.

But then again have you got a low boost engine ready to just be dropped in?

i have a complete standard engine and a complete low boost set up on an engine the high boost setup is just a block rods pistons and crank

so either way 1 engine will need to be stripped so i can build the high boost, depending on teh time scale will depend on which 1 getts stripped the other will then need to be fitted to the car

yeah idealy yes but if im not ready till a week a so before FCS then the standard will go in as there is messing with intercooler which im having made up for the car by the guy who did the cage and rather than the car not be at FCS through not being ready i'd rather take it as a 170bhp car still be quick with around 150 per tonne

Back to it today stripped the xsara vts rear beam it was well seized probably the worst i'd come across
