black plastic vinyl cover ?

bit of a strange question but here it goes, is there anywhere i can buy the black pastic stuff that covers the bit between the front and the back doors on 5 door 306's

i think its only on the phase 3's but mine is quite scratched and its a bit of a pain to get the car sprayed

if ive confused anyone ive circled the bit i mean in green in the pic below

Its on mine as well, dont just take it off like i did - the paint underneath WILL NOT be the same shade as the rest of the car

Was thinking about this after, i enquires about these for my P3 1.6, i'm sure they came as a set at about £24 + vat or something simular, so if its a must have for you it still wont break the bank.

why not take em off, see how bad the paint fade in that area is, if not too bad leave it off, or if its bad paint it with some satin black cheaper option and will look the same only prob is rings scratching it as you open/close the door

thanks for the help mike, going to give the dealer a phone and see if i can get some, they would cover the scratches on my drivers door a treat

lol gave them a phone and as usual they asked for my vin number , is there any point them having it cos i dont think my car had them as standard. would they be able to find them with my vin ?

They need the VIN to enter into the EPC which gives them the bits availiable for your car. Funnily enough browsing through it now i can't actually find those plastic bits for any car.

I phoned Harry Phillips Peugeot in LLanelli for the price of the parts before, and they said they needed a VIN number, at this point i just told them it was a customers car and i didnt have the VIN, could i get the parts just by giving relavant information, they were happy to help then.
