I know that fool! Hole swager is around £20!
What gearbox and clutch are you going to be running?
Re: Black Supercharged 306 Rallye
standard box and valeo O.E clutch Rich-w who made the c/c kit is running the same but his engine is pushing out 502BHP
Re: Black Supercharged 306 Rallye
I've bought more goodies tonight
Nissens alloy Rad (the later type so direct fit)
Group n top engine mount with side buffers
Group n gearbox mount
so that makes a full group n mount set now

Re: Black Supercharged 306 Rallye
there will be less flex from engine movment, i had a set on my S1 and after that said i would have to get some for the 306 probably the best mod i did on the S1
Re: Black Supercharged 306 Rallye
I have a set of GRP N's for the 106! Heard sooo much good opinions about them cannot wait to drive the car once fitted!
If the 306 is like the 106, the only difference between the GRP N and GRP A is the lower gearbox mount...

Re: Black Supercharged 306 Rallye
the S1 was totally transformed i also had powerflex roll bar bushes and bilstein shoxs all round, it handled great i found even though it didnt have much power it was such a good handling car that it would stay with anything (pretty much)
Re: Black Supercharged 306 Rallye
Bilstein's dont come in under my student budget! Can't wait for my 1st ever pay slip!
Im running Spax upfront with Koni's on the rear, no problems to report although only ever hear good words about the Billies!
Will soon be fully polybushed, after I have refurbed the rear beam. Had solid rear mounts for the front wishbones, which tightened everything up!
Get and chop the dash up! Easy 5kg in there!

Re: Black Supercharged 306 Rallye
bilsteins didnt cost me much think they were about £150 all round, solid wish bone mounts will make a huge change

Re: Black Supercharged 306 Rallye

Re: Black Supercharged 306 Rallye
I need some more power and even less weight to even have a chance
Where did you get the engine from? A previous car?

Re: Black Supercharged 306 Rallye
Ironicaly i put my name down for the kit (made by lynx) group buy on gti6 forum but had to pull out when i had the crash in the red rallye, Chris Barnett then took my place in the group buy but crashed his car soon after getting it all done, i then bought the damaged shell with the engine fitted for £2550 and £175 to trailer back from Wiltshire.
normally a kit would cost in the region of £3600-4000 so not a bad deal really plus LYNX are not making them now so only 20-30 iirc kits out there.
