few pics of the car bein put onto the tow truck took a fu blocks of wood to get it on to stop it hitting the floor.

todfays work, xsi engine removed, air con pipes and various bite removed that not needed form engine bay, engine bay sprayed, gti6 engine fitted fitted with alternato, starter, gti6 aircon pump as pulley on mine was nakard, auxillary belt fitted, and the gti6 engine in the bay on its mounts.

Just tested your ecu and it works fine on mine, so the interior can be put back together and the loom taped up, probably didnt get dash lights cos the inlet wasnt connected

air con pump, starter motor, alternator, pas pump all painted up silver today. nissens aluminium rad fitter, fans fitted, engine loom brackets fitted, lifting eye fitted.
waiting for the orange paint now to spray the inlet manifold and cam covers so can put some fluids in and start the engine up to check things run.

My sister may be having it as the engine in hers is low on compression, we should know for defo this week some time, you going high boost?

the gti6 engine has now been started and it does run! not driven it yet tho got to put exhausrt and do an engine flush and oil change first.

yeah runs spot on was able to get it to go down as low as 500 rpm before stalling

fit clutch cable to pedal, fit exhaust, drain/flush engine oil drain/flush coolant and refill gear box, then drill 2 snapped headlight bolts out and the front can go back on

would have been but we had a few problems it stopped on the key and didnt start again got a load of sensors to test on my car in the morning

yeh car not running now sensor problem hopefully. but front end is all back on including headlights etc except bumper, all engine bits and pieces connected up. clutch cable on.
so jujst fluids and exhaust to do once the starting problem is resolved should be driving next weke hopefully sumtime.
got a gti6 cat today and a new drivers window regulator so can fix that as well and have both windows working yay.

car is now running again, ordered some new stainless steel front brake lines today. picking a new wing up from alex on monday, i have filled the rad up with water and checked for leaks today aswell.

no pics yet ill wait tilli done an oil change and filled the up with pas fluid and gear oil then exhuast on and driveit home for a gud clean up.
